So much to say.

It has been so long since my last update. I'm going to start where I left off.

After Picnic closed, I began to focus on another show called Musicality. Musicality was a show that I produced, directed and performed in along with 4 of my amazing friends. We raised money for the theatre department at the middle school that we attended. I sang 'Popular' from Wicked which was awesome. I had an awesome pink dress for that song. Hope sang 'Show Me' from My Fair Lady and did an excellent job with that. Sylvia played an amazing piece on the violin. She has such talent. Ben and Noah helped with all of our scene changes and also did their own performing during the show. We also had two amazing adult helpers; Peg and Carol, who are simply amazing. Thank you to everyone. We had a great audience of around 100 people and we raised quite a bit of money for the theatre department. THANK YOU to everyone who came.

Musicality was last Friday. Today is mother's day and I had the amazing opportunity to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this morning. It was incredible. There were about 50,000 people there! It was awesome!!!! I walked with one of my neighbors and her mom and brother. I also walked with Rob and Ike (Chris's husband and son) along with Rob's sister and nieces. I had a great time and it was a real pleasure to walk with these awesome people. It was such a beautiful and emotional experience for me. After the walk, we went to church. The service was already out, but we spent some time talking to Pastor Sue, Lisa, Karen, and Bill. That was fun and it was good to see them.

After I got home from the walk, I went to Anything Goes at Lakeshore Players. It is a great show! I knew two of the actresses and they both did a superb job. I also got to see some people from Picnic, which was fun and a little emotional since we don't get to see each other that often.

Today was an awesome day. I spent most of it thinking about Chris and all the people who cared about her. Today is exactly five months since she died and since it's mother's day, it's doubly important.

Thank you, Chrissy, for letting me be part of your life.
